The series features mono color scenes in green, with the “Aloha Nui” caption. This one was mailed – would have had a Provisional Gov. Stamp, which could be. Replaced- for cosmetic reasons. Mailing dates to 1899. Views from this time period are very difficult to find. Photo was taken at a Moanalua Park in the original location – Makai of where the Freeway is now- in Mapunapuna. Pioneer postcards were sheet printed and hand cut – no two ever seem to be exactly the same size. No creasing but over-all grime and missing stamp. SIZE: aprox 3 1/2″ x 5 1/2″.
