1869 USA stamps x 7. Fair-good mix. Used. 1c 30c. Please read description
A very interesting collection of used 1869 USA stamps. Conditions are a mixed bag, fair to good. I wouldn’t grade any of them as poor. They all have value, some possibly quite high value. 1c – Benjamin Franklin. Brown, with clear grill. Centred to the bottom. 2c – Pony Express. Brown/ochre/buff, with clear grill. Centred slightly to the left. 3c – Baldwin Locomotive. I can’t see a grill. Centred to the top and right. 6c – George Washington. Ultramarine, with clear grill. Centred to the right and top. 10c – Shield & Eagle. Orange-yellow, with clear grill. Green, with clear grill. 30c – Shield, Eagle & Flags. Centred to the top. Trimmed bottom edge perforations. All have good colouring. I enjoy early US stamps but I haven’t got time to study these and do them all justice. The wide range of variations is staggering. Some of the designs here are truly incredible. So this collection is offered at what I think is a very reasonable price. It’s offered’as is’ so please use the photos as an integral part of the description. I’ve photographed every stamp in close up. Therefore these numbers are to be considered a guide only. I’m aware there are reprints of these values but I’m quite confident none of this collection are the more valuable reprints. 2c – SG 115. 3c – SG 116. 6c – SG 117. 10c – SG 118. 12c – SG 119. 30c – SG 123. Please study the photos. I’m hoping somebody gets a bargain!
