Up next from our Grandfathers massive stamp/cover collection is a set of covers flown on the flight of the U. Akron Aug 1st 1932. Ons of the covers must have been one of the first pieces canceled that were flown that day, as it has an error showing July (should be Aug) as the month in the front cancel. This pieces even includes its original letter (letter is dated July 30 1932)! Both pieces have the same front/back cancels and front/back Navy PO stamps (except for cancel error). Front cancel (should be): Lakehurst Aug 1 1932. Rear cancels: Lakehurst Aug 2 1932. The covers all looks to be in very good original condition.
