The vintage circa 1940s Navajo silver naja with arms and hands pendant measures approximately 2-1/2″ (6.4 cm) by 2-3/16″ (5.6 cm). Weighs 29.6 grams. Like most older Native American jewelry, this piece is not stamped or hallmarked for silver content. It is sterling or a slightly lower grade of silver. The chain is 28 long features stamped links and was handmade for the naja by a Navajo silversmith in Arizona, custom made to complement the beautiful large naja. You can remove the naja to wear the chain alone, it attaches easily and securely with the shepherd’s hook on the back.
