Weak red CDS, stamp with light cancel and tied with a bit of a smudge (or manuscript) at right; 4 margin stamp and nice color, with what apperas to be a minor corner crease at lower left and small edge nibble at bottom. Cover with two creases and some damage from a prior mounting on reverse; no year date in docketing; no inner content. There are only 5 10 cent 1847 covers reported from Bangor.
